Helen Pearson-Miles
Counsellor
Helen is a qualified counsellor with a diploma in therapeutic counselling and is a registered member of the BACP. She has experience working with individuals who are navigating trauma, bereavement, loss, anxiety, depression, and a range of other life challenges. Her approach is compassionate, warm, and empathetic. She understands the importance of feeling safe and understood, and creates a space where you can be heard, without judgment, as you start to navigate your counselling journey.
Helen works in a trauma-informed manor, recognising that every person’s experience is unique and deeply personal. She uses a combination of therapeutic approaches designed to support you in living a more fulfilled life, helping you reconnect with yourself. Helen works collaboratively with you to create a path forward that is grounded in compassion, empowerment, and respect for your unique story. She believes this to be collaborative, which therefore places you at the heart of the process, allowing exploration at a pace that is comfortable for you.
