This workshop explores the origins and science of herbal medicine, with a seasonal focus on spring herbs. The session includes an informative talk, a guided herb walk, and a hands-on making workshop where you’ll create your own herbal tincture and salve to take home.
The workshop is led by medical herbalist and shepherdess Kate Scott. Kate holds a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine and has over 20 years of experience working with herbs. She comes from a long lineage of herbalists dating back to the 16th century. Her clinical training includes time at Whipps Cross Hospital’s Dermatology Department and at The Breast Cancer Haven in London, where she supported clients with both the physical and emotional challenges surrounding diagnosis and treatment.
